Why was Anime Suki created?

In 2020, I was dissatisfied with my job and decided to leave it to pursue a career on YouTube. Being from Brazil, I initially created a Portuguese-language channel to share news and information about anime, reaching 140,000 subscribers in about two years. However, the RPM (revenue per thousand views) for a Portuguese anime channel was very low, so I wasn’t satisfied with my earnings. I decided to leave the Portuguese channel behind and use the knowledge I’d gained to create an English channel called Anime Suki, which, in less than two years, reached over 10,000 subscribers and more than 3 million views.

Even with fewer subscribers than my former Portuguese channel, the English channel has been far more profitable. Now, I’ve decided to launch a blog to expand my audience, catering to those who don’t use YouTube but want accurate information and analyses on whether an anime or animated series will have a new season and when that season will be released.
